STEP ONE: What is your Life Color?

Click the link to take the test to discover your "Life Color". Auras are composed of many different colors that may change from time to time depending on your mood or environment. But the band of colors closest to your body, referred to by some as your Life Color, is fixed in place. It does not fluctuate, and because it is closest to you, it reveals the most about your personality and life purpose. Try to answer the questions as honestly as possible; respond with how you truly do think and feel, not how you want to feel. At the end, the category with the highest number of "yes" answers will be your Life Color. Most people will score a markedly higher number in one particular category. Take note, however, if you score high in two different categories. As this Hub progresses, we will be getting into the Combination Colors, and what it means if you scored as such.

There are three categories of Life Colors: PHYSICAL LIFE COLORS (Red, Orange, Magenta, Yellow) process information through their physical bodies, through touch. MENTAL LIFE COLORS (Logical Tan, Abstract Tan, Sensitive Tan, Environmental Tan, Green) are the intellectuals who progress through life by gathering information and then analyzing it. EMOTIONAL LIFE COLORS (Blue, Violet, Indigo, Lavender, Crystal) process life through their feelings, emotions and intuition.

If someone scores highest on two Life Colors that are in the same aura family (physical, mental or emotional) -- for example, a Blue/Violet or Red/Orange -- this person may be living the equivalent to two lifetimes in one. These lifetimes may be running concurrently, if the person feels she has a lot to learn and a great deal to accomplish before she passes into her next life, or they may run consecutively. For example, at a pivotal moment in her life, this person may actually be switching lifetimes without switchin physical bodies, and her personality will change accordingly.

Combination Colors, on the other hand, are when someone scores highest on two Life Colors that may or may not be in the same aura family -- for example, a Yellow/Green or Blue/Yellow. In that case, the colors either come together in that individual's personality to work in harmony, or operate in conflict.

PHYSICAL LIFE COLOR: Yellow

Yellows are the most childlike personalities of the aura spectrum. They are playful individuals who love to laugh and make others around them laugh. They enjoy life and don't take it too seriously. These wonderful personalities love to relax, and their life purpose is to help lighten up and heal the energy on the planet. Yellows love to please and want to be liked by everyone. They are everyone's friend, and once they are in a familiar setting, they become the life of the party. People are naturally drawn to Yellows and their abundant, seemingly endless, energy. Due to the amount of energy that courses through their bodies, it is imperative that Yellows stay physically active. If they do not exercise or engage in sports on a regular basis, the intense energy within them will bottle up and cause an inner battle for which there is no outlet, ultimately causing illness and exhaustion. When Yellows are staying active and physically fit, they are better able to deal with life. Yellows have very addictive personalities. (Healthy addictions include exercise, sports and creativity; negative addictions are drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and overeating.) If they indulge their vices, they will first be high and full of energy, but will soon hit bottom. Their bodies are so sensitive that they will experience the effects of their addictions long after they have quit. Because they are not very self-disciplined, it is hard for Yellows to abstain from destructive behavior--they do not like anyone else telling them what to do.

RELATIONSHIPS

Yellows are sensitive and caring with their mates, and they aim to please. They are idealistic, craving lovers who will laugh with and take care of them without being stifling or taking away their freedom. Yellows flirt, but become nervous if the other person wants to explore something more. They like the excitement of attracting attention, but do not like to be trapped or tied down. They tend to be players. Yellows truly do want to be committed, but at the same time their fear of such commitment leads them to play games or go after people who are unavailable, knowing in the back of their mind that that person will be "safe". Partners need to stand firm and not react to the Yellow's tendency to withdraw.

SEX

Yellows are extremely sexual beings. Their love-making can be playful as well as considerate and sensitive. Sex is a physical release for Yellows, who feel connected and whole at the point of orgasm. Although they are not naturally inclined to be monogamous, Yellows are intensely loyal and faithful once they truly fall in love.

PARENTS

Yellows love to play with children but don't really want the responsibilities of raising their own. Yellows are such children themselves that are better playmates than parents. They want to be liked as a friend rather than a disciplinarian.

MONEY

It doesn't take much money to make a Yellow happy. They like to play with money and are generous to a fault. When they have it, they will literally give it away so that the people close to them may have a good time. If a Yellow can imagine what money physically feels like being held in hand, money will somehow manifest for them.

SUCCESS

Yellows measure their success in terms of how much fun they are having, how much freedom they have and how many people like them.

OCCUPATIONS

Yellows need to have fun in their careers and tend to move around from job to job. They are drawn to three basic fields: physical labor/sports, creative pursuits, or health and healing. Occupations include athlete, laborer, lifeguard, gardener, mechanic, comedian, musician (especially drummers), chef (Yellows are great cooks), bartender, massage therapist, healer, nutritionist.
